A mystery Swedish online poker pro "Isildur1" has burst on to the scene on Full Tilt Poker last November of this year has caught the attention of many in the poker world. For several weeks now a player using the username Isildur1 has been tearing up the high stakes games on Full Tilt Poker.
Last month of this year, he took the high-stakes Pot Limit Omaha and No Limit Hold’em worlds by storm in November of 2009, squaring off heads-up against players like World Series Of Poker renowned poker players like Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius, and also Isildur1 took Tom “Durrrr” Dwan for a few million dollars, and was at the tables again doing the same thing to many other pros for several hundred thousands this past weekend.
According to several sites, Isildur1 is up over $6,000,000 this month alone playing the high stakes cash games on Full Tilt Poker. By the first week of November, Isildur1 was up $1 million according to Poker Table Ratings and crossed the $2 million threshold shortly thereafter. Moreover, another speculation burst out as Frank "Frank1The1Tank" Calo posted about Isildir1's identity; "Fwiw, I have received intelligence by some very credible sources (who shall be kept completely private) who said pretty confidently who isildur1 is. So I give you the knowledge I have (with like 99% certainty but not quite 100% yet) that it is Robert Flink aka Gulkines. No this is not a level or me having fun or w/e. I can say with like 100% certainty that it isn't viktor blom either fwiw."
Another speculation is when the poker bad boy Tony G reveal that a Swedish poker pro named Viktor “blom30” Blom is Isildur1. Viktor Blom has denied being the high-stakes newcomer, telling Bluff Europe, “I am not the one you are looking for. Keep searching.”
However, a conversation at the playing table between Isildur1 and Illari "Ziigmund" Sahamies, that was published on the 30th of November at the PocketFives.com poker forum seems to strengthen the idea that Isildur1 is Viktor Blom:
